Mark 5:19
“Go home to your family and announce to them all that the Lord in his pity has done for you.”

Imagine winning in a contest. And you won the grand prize. Would you just keep it to yourself? Or would you share the good news with your family and friends? Would you just keep the money for yourself, or would you treat your friends to a dinner? Of course, sharing what you have is the most prudent thing to do.
And Jesus is more than a grand prize in a contest. He is far more than the money you won in a lottery.
Jesus is our salvation. He is the reason why we gained back the greatest prize there is… eternal life in Heaven with our Lord.
So what is holding us back to share Him with others – starting with our family and friends?
Are you forgetting what God has already done for you? In these tough economic times it is hard sometimes to keep looking up. We need to let God speak to us His Good News… as Christians we are not allowed to give up.
Sharing Jesus with others, or witnessing is to be an overflow of love and expression from a life now in Christ.
It is to be a natural, joyful and powerful part of each believer's life.
Let us pray +
Dear God as best as I know how I give my life to you. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me, arose again and ascended to the Father. I repent of my sins and trust Jesus to cleanse me, come into my life and save me. Teach me to share Jesus to others so they may also live a life fully with, through and in Him. I am not ashamed of Jesus! Thank you Lord, in Jesus name I pray. Amen +
Lord, rise up and save me.
