Mark 6:56
…they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak; and as many as touched it were healed.

You will see a long line. People lining up so they can wipe their handkerchiefs or part of their clothing on the cross in the altar, fully believing that it can heal them of their sickness and suffering.
But more than the wiping, it is in believing that you are truly healed. Fully knowing that God loves us and providing that same love to others.
There is no greater love we could have than loving Jesus Christ.
For this love is not a one-way love.
When we go to Jesus…
…when we go on fighting the crowds of people who tell us that our faith is stupid or that we believe in an invisible, distant God,
…and when we persevere and work our way to Jesus in spite of all those who get in our way, Jesus is not only there to heal us.
He stops, turns, and looks at us and talks with us and connects with us. Our love for Him is not a one-way love.
Jesus heals… and loves us back.
Let us pray +
Heavenly Father, You are intimately aware of the struggle and pain I am experiencing. You know the desire of my heart to be healed of this illness. I ask now for Your healing touch. I know that You are able and that just like in Bible times, You can heal me. I pray that ultimately, whatever happens, You will be glorified through me, in Jesus name, Amen +
Lord, go up to the place of your rest!
