Luke 4:36
For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.

“I know who you are –the Holy One of God!” Guess who told Jesus this in Luke 4:34. Nope, not the apostles. Nope, not the Pharisees. Nope, not the people of Jerusalem. If you would read the verse, it was uttered no other than by a spirit of an unclean demon.
So, what does this mean to us? A lot. This only tells us that not only good and righteous people knows the Lord, but even the unclean spirit and the demons. So, even Jesus would tell us that not everyone who says “I know the Lord” would reach heaven. Not everyone who says he know the Lord more than us, would bring us to heaven.
And the demon would continue to tempt us to commit sins. He would promise us “pure joy” but it the form of lust, greed and gluttonous desires. But, being tempted is not sinning. We always have a choice - do we obey God and cast it out or give in to our own desires? There may be pain and anguish in our heart and mind when declining temptations of the flesh, but overcoming temptation is treasure for the soul.
We need to realize that when the temptation comes, one victory is not enough. We need to stay on constant guard, to keep our self calm and let the Lord God enter our hearts.
Let Him cast out the demons so we may live in total harmony with His words and love. It may not happen overnight, but if we let ourselves to be totally overtaken by God, it will happen eventually. Are you now ready to cast out all the demons in your life?

Almighty Father, I acknowledge who You are in my life. You are majestic and mighty. You are powerful and true. You are my God, my Lord, and my King. I honor and worship You this morning, even in front of this computer screen. I have faith in my faith, because I am confident that You are a God that honors faith! In Jesus’ name. Amen +
The Lord is just in all his ways.
