Luke 4:14-15
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news of him spread throughout the whole region. He taught…and was praised by all.
-------------------------------------------
We would receive some sort of praise from our friends, family or colleagues for doing something good or achieving things that others may consider extraordinary. And we would feel really proud for being praised.
Though being praised by all for His great teachings, Jesus would remain humble until the end. He knows from the start that His primary reason for being here on earth is to spread the Good News of salvation for all.
And He did not only say it, but lived and died for it. And due to this, all the more that He is worthy of our praise and worship.
From Psalm 150: “Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.”
Never stop worshiping and loving Jesus, He is worthy of all our praise and passion!
Let us pray +
Lord Jesus, let us praise You forever. You are our Lord and our King and because of You, we can now experience the joy of being with You and the Father in heaven. Continue to bless us, O Lord and may we continue to worship and glorify Your mighty name. Amen +
Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life.
