Mark 3:35
“Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

Christ taught us that knowing God's will and living in obedience to that will is the key to it all! God is the potter; we are the clay. God keeps us spinning on His potter's wheel, shaping and reshaping us as He bathes our lives in tears to make us more Christ-like so He can use us for His will. Surrender daily. Keep your clay moist through daily prayer - prayer that's in accordance to His will. (George Müller (1805-1898), English evangelist & philanthropist)
Romans 12:1-2 tells us the steps of how to know God's will for your life: “I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
There is no better sacrifice than for us to offer ourselves to God. This includes surrendering our lives, both spiritual and physical, to Almighty God, who is Creator over us all. Surrendering is not easily attained because surrender means to give up control. Many of us feel we have lost ourselves if we give up control. Yet, the Word says in Matthew 10:39, “He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.” Know God's will for your life by listening to that still small voice inside of you.
Almighty Father, let me follow Your will. Teach me to trust Your sense of timing rather than my own and to surrender my will to Your greater and wiser plan. Help me let life unfold slowly, slow enough to appreciate life and all it holds.
“Your will, not mine
For in Your time
Everything shall be known
Trusting You fully, into the unknown.”
And He put a new song into my mouth, a hymn to our God.
