NOT IMPOSSIBLE

Matthew 19:26

“For human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”

At first, I thought it would be impossible to write my devotions daily, without fail. I even thought of doing it weekly or even fortnightly. But it really became a habit that my day would not really be complete without praising God and letting Him bless others through me by these daily writings. The inspiration kept on coming and lo… I have been doing this for 11 months now. God is really good, and with Him, nothing is impossible.

“All things are possible to him that believes.” It is something great to really believe that all things are possible with God. Yet we may be anxious as to how and when it may come to pass. This word of Christ in the gospel throws the responsibility on us. Everything is possible to him who believes that God makes all things possible. If God is almighty "in heaven and on earth", it is because He made them. Nothing is impossible with God, who disposes His works according to His will. He is the Lord of the universe, whose order He established and which remains wholly subject to Him and at His disposal. He is master of history, governing hearts and events in keeping with His will.

So the next time you are in a situation that you think is impossible to overcome, then think again. Have you asked His help? Do you continue to rely on men for help? Turn to Him. In His dictionary, the word “impossible” is not written.

Almighty Father, in You, nothing is impossible. I abandon myself into Your hands; do with me what You will. Whatever You may do, I thank You. I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only Your will be done in me and in all Your creatures. I wish no more than this, O Lord.
