“Wash and be clean…”

The Philippines is experiencing severe drought again in key agricultural areas due to the El Nino phenomenon. And the drought is expected to continue through this summer months so everyone is advised to save water.
We are all dependent on water. First is to hydrate our body. In fact, our body is 75% water. It has been shown that if you lose just 2.5% of your body weight from water loss, you will loose 25% of your efficiency.
Secondly is to clean our body. Water is a universal solvent and can dissolve more things than any other substance. And as we need to clean our physical body, we also need to do some cleaning of the inside.
Sometimes we care more about what we look like than what is in our heart. It is definitely a good thing to take a bath and be clean. But it is a lot more important that we are clean on the inside, in our hearts.
The Bible tells us that we all have done things that have made us unclean and dirty before God. These things separate us from Him. God loves us and made a way for us to be clean and pure.
God sent His Son, Jesus, to help us. Jesus lived a life that was clean and pure. He never sinned at all. When He died on the cross, He died for all the sins that we have done. He died for us!
When we ask Jesus to forgive our sins and come into our heart, He washes away our sins and gives us a clean heart! Let His blood wash you.

Lord Jesus, I come before You just as I am. I am sorry for all my sins. I repent of my sins, please forgive me. Irenounce Satan, the evil spirits and all their works. I give You my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever. I accept You as my Lord, God and Saviour. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul and spirit. Come Lord Jesus, cover me with Your Precious Blood and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Amen +
