FOR SHIELA (03-31-11)

Psalms 95:6
Come, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the LORD who made us.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

My lovely daughter is graduating today from high school. Let me dedicate today’s devotion to wish her “Happy Graduation”.

To our dearest Shiela,

Time really flies when you are having fun. You are now a young lady ready and willing to face the challenges of a college life. We are so proud of all that you have accomplished, things that you have creatively created, and all that you have done with your life so far. The only thing I can tell you with certainty about your future is that it won’t be anything like you imagine. It never is.

So, whatever you do, do it with a smile on your lips and in your heart. We can wish you all the best, we can wish you all the luck…but all will come to naught if you stop having fun. And nothing is more important to us than your happiness. Be happy in achieving what you want in life. Be happy in knowing that in your own little way, you can make a difference. Be happy in believing that in everything you do, God is there to guide and protect you.

Happy Graduation! We can’t wait to see what the future will hold for you! Yes, there will be victories, yet there will also be failures. But our fervent wish is that you succeed in the most important things in life. And, we pray to God that it will be a life full of happiness.

With all our love, Papa, Mama & Mark

Let us pray +

Almighty Father, enlighten our eyes, understanding fully that all knowledge came from and existed within You. Kindly share us Your knowledge, making us aware of what is meant to be, permitting our souls to understand it and the wisdom to agree with its outcome. And we kneel and bow before you today fully understanding your will. Amen +

Come into his presence with thanksgiving; joyfully sing psalms to Him.
