Blessed be the Lord day by day, God, our salvation, who carries us.
Our soul is worth more than the whole world and everything in it. Jesus says in Matthew 16:26, “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Our soul is the part of us that is going to continue to live on forever throughout all eternity. We cannot afford to lose our soul and be eternally punished. If you were to die today, do you know for certain that you would go to heaven? Do you consider yourself to be the child of GOD?
Galatians 3:26-27 (KJV) says, “For you are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” All of us want to be children of God, but it is our faith in Christ that leads us to become children of God. This verse also tells us how our faith leads us to be children of God.
Jesus says in John 8:24, “For if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” In order to do the will of the Father, we must believe in God and in Christ, otherwise we will die in our sins and be lost. If God is to be believed at all, He must be believed fully. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” We must diligently seek to know all that God wants us to do and then gladly do it.
Do you believe in God with all your heart? Do you believe and have all the confidence in Him and you will do anything and everything for His glory? Are you a child of God? Have you been baptized into Christ so you can be a child of God? As Hebrews 2:3 says, "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?" We know there is no escape. Please don't neglect your salvation.
Almighty Father, I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen +
