“I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Jesus is the only true way to the Father, no one can get to Him except through Jesus. There may be other paths to salvation that you know of (but I assure you, there is none), but none has the guarantee of God Himself that if you follow His Son, you will be saved. This is the one sure reason to justify being a Christian, we alone have the roadmap to salvation written by God.
JESUS IS THE WAY. Jesus did not hesitate to claim that He was the only way to God. Follow Him and His Way to the Father.
1 JOHN 5:12 – “He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.”
2 JOHN 1:9 – “Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.”
JESUS IS THE TRUTH. Jesus walked the truth, lived the truth, taught the truth, and died for the truth. Live our life in the truth with a pure heart and intention.
1 Peter 1:22 – Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart.
John 8:31 – “If you abide in My word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
JESUS IS THE LIFE. The meaning of our life is to prepare a place for us in heaven for eternity by coming into an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
John 11:25-26 – “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”
Almighty Father, We give you praise because all we know of You speaks of life, and goodness, and blessing. Help us to so order our lives that they will in turn express Your life. Your life in us. Blessed be the miracle of LIFE and the God of LIFE who provides for every living creature.
