REASON FOR THE SEASON

Today is Solemnity of
the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend to you, and they are. They are there for a reason, you need them to be.

It’s the time of the year
When happiness abounds
Parents with their kids
Buying presents, shopping all around.

It’s the season of giving
Children’s caroling and singing
Old friends and families meet
And greet the season with joy unending.

It’s truly the season of all seasons
As we anticipate the coming of the Lord
May our hearts be truly blessed and pure
When in us, Jesus Christ is born.

A voice cries:
"In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill be made low;
the uneven ground shall become level,
and the rough places a plain."

Let us hearts be filled with gladness
For the King of all Kings is coming
Let us spirit be filled with joy, exulting
For the Lord is with us, forever and ever.

May His coming instill eternal happiness in our hearts.
