1st Sunday of Advent
Luke 10:21
“…for although
you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed
them to the childlike.”
For changes would change the way we live,
work and enjoy life. When I have been asked
to be a part of the team to go to Mexico to work on a project, I was very
apprehensive. A total change in my life
as I have to be away from my family – something that never happened to me
before.
And due to the toughness of my heart, I was
not able to see the inner workings that God is planning for my life. But, through constant prayers, I was able to
open my heart.
And like the heart of a child, I listened.
We could only understand the workings and
the love that God wants to share with us if we would have the mind and the
heart of a child. He doesn’t want us to
understand everything but He wants us to trust in Him as we live our life,
totally oblivious of what will happen tomorrow.
Always be a kid at heart where even
simple things can make you smile.
Take time to enjoy the little things, the many
little blessings that come along your way.
As time goes by, reflect on your childhood days which are now
a beautiful memory.
And, life goes on. We live.
We love. We learn.
Let us pray +
Almighty Father, thank You for giving me a
mind that can know
and a heart that can love. Let me be convinced that all knowledge leads to You and let me know how to find You and love You in all the things You have made. Grant me the grace to put my knowledge to use in building the Your kingdom on earth to prepare myself for kingdom in heaven. Amen +

Justice shall flourish in his time, and fullness of peace for ever.
