Luke 14:23-24
Go out to the
highways and hedgerows and make people come in that my home may be filled. For, I tell you, none of those men who were
invited will taste my dinner.
BUT!!!
You were busy at work, you are busy trying
to be wealthy, you are busy cleaning your new car, you are busy… you are busy…
you are busy.
No wonder the next day, God invited someone
who was willing to accept His invitation.
He gave him all the blessings that life can offer. And in return, he gave God what is due Him –
praise, worship and love.
But did God forget you? Of course not! His invitation is still open. And when you are not busy anymore, why not
accept His invitation? He is waiting for
you. Just make sure that when you
decided to accept it, it is not too late, or you will not forever taste the
banquet He prepared in Heaven.
Let us pray +
Almighty Father, give me a servant’s heart.
Help me find ways to show hospitality to those in need, not to win their favor,
but to reflect your love to them that they will seek to know you better.
Amen +
In you, O Lord, I have found my peace.
