Matthew 17:20
Amen,
I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to
this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.
I
would still remember the day when the doctor were able to extract 500cc of water
from my mother-in-law’s lungs to relieve her of her suffering. It was
over in about 15 minutes. The source of Mama’s suffering – water! – was
gone.
It is really
hard to think that the source of life on earth – water – would be the same
source of suffering for Mama. This only shows that nothing is absolutely
good here on earth. A thing can be both bad and good depending on how it
is used.
Only the Lord
God is absolutely good. And by understanding the will of God and how your
mind and the mind of Christ are in spiritual warfare between the flesh and the
Spirit, you can yield yourself each day to God and allow Him to work through
you. And this can be truly understood even if we have faith the size of a
mustard seed.
Faith is the
substance of the things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hope
is what you have even if you have nothing else. Christ is our only hope,
in Him we have eternal life. He is our faith.
As Christ steps
into our lives, we must open the door of our heart. Christ is to reign in
our mortal body. He is to be first in our life, to reign as Lord.
Let us pray

How great is
your goodness, dear Lord! Blessed are you for ever! May all created
things praise you, O God, for loving us so much that we can truthfully speak of
your fellowship with mankind, even in this earthly exile; and however virtuous
we may be, our virtue always depends on your great warmth and generosity, dear
Lord. Your bounty is infinite. How wonderful are your works!
Amen

Praised be the LORD, I exclaim! And I am safe from my enemies.
