John 8:31-32
“If
you remain in My word, you will truly be My disciples, and you will know the
truth, and the truth will set you free.”
We always want to know the truth. When our kids went home late, we want to
understand why, we want to know the truth.
When one of our people is late or absent, we want to know what happened,
we want to know the truth.
In the current scandals plaguing the
government today, everyone says that he is not lying, they are all telling the
truth! And yet, when we examine our
lives, most of the time, we are also living in lies.
This is because we are either afraid of the
truth or doesn’t even know what is the truth.
And most of the time, the things that we believe are “truth” are really
lies for it is not rooted on doing what God commands us to do.
The Scriptures reveal those things
necessary for salvation and are the sole infallible rule of the Christian faith. No one has any right to opt out of the search
for truth, especially in faith and morals, no matter how limited or deep their
level of religious understanding are.
Jesus is the way, the TRUTH and the
life. Find the truth that we are
yearning for. Look into your heart and
be true to yourself first before asking for truthfulness from others.
Turn into Him for salvation, for only Him
can set us free. The desire for God is
written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God
never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and
happiness he never stops searching for.
Let us pray +
Almighty Father, lead me in Your Truth and
teach me. I seek Your Truth and trust
You and Your Divine Plan because I know that I originally came from You. Protect me Father and help me to always speak
the Truth and to purposefully move away from omissions, lies and anything that
is not a deliberate reflection of Your Truth.
Amen +
Glory and praise for ever!
