OUR SHEPHERD

Luke 10:3
Go on your way; behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves.

Jesus has lived a life liken to a lamb among the wolves. And yet, He was able to share the good news to everyone, even though He was surrounded by “wolves in sheep’s clothings”. And today, He is sending us to the world to do the same – share the good news of salvation to everyone.

Before Jesus Christ our Savior came to earth, lambs were sacrificed once a year to carry over the sins of the people to the following year. When He came as prophesied, born of a virgin, conceived by God Himself and indeed was "Immanuel" (God is with us), a man among men, a "Lamb among wolves", He came to communicate the message of salvation to "the wolves", knowing full-well they would kill Him.

The good news is, no more lambs ever had to be slain because He paid the price for sin once and for all. And, He rose from the dead, so there is no more fear in death. He promises to even raise His lambs from death to life, just as He did!

Please ask the Good Shepherd to change you into His lamb today. Thank Him for forgiving your sins as the Lamb of God! You will hear His voice, as I do! I have told you the message. If you can understand this message, you are "ripe" and ready to be changed. He needs you and you need Him!

Let us pray +

Lord Jesus, let me hear Your voice, follow You wherever You go. Teach me to hear and read Your Word so I may always have it in my mind and heart. Always remind me of what to say to each and every “wolf” that comes in my way, something especially for them so they may also become Your lamb. Watch over me and protect me and will reward me of Heaven for telling others this same message.
